Inside the world of the personal assistants to the ultra-rich
In the shadow of every billionaire stands an invisible “nanny”— absorbing chaos, guarding secrets, and managing the cost of power.
Behind the Facade of Fortune
The Billionaire’s Nanny is a docuseries that explores the hidden world of the people who keep the ultra-rich functioning, revealing the psychological, ethical, and human cost of serving extreme wealth and power.
The “nanny” manages impossible schedules, contains scandals, stabilizes emotional crises, and coordinates the lives of billionaires who cannot function alone. They live surrounded by luxury but never possess it. They have constant access but little real autonomy. They are deeply intimate with their employers’ lives, yet never truly part of the family.

Access Strategy
The series explores a world defined by discretion, trust, and absolute confidentiality. Access to the professionals who operate within it requires sensitivity, patience, and respect.
The production will create a safe environment so participants can speak openly about their experiences, protecting their anonymity when necessary. The storytelling will focus on understanding their perspectives rather than exposing private individuals.
By building trust and approaching the subject with care, the series seeks to reveal the hidden realities of this profession while preserving the discretion that defines it.
Director's Statement
My curiosity began when I started seeing personal assistants to the ultra-rich speaking online about their work. The stories revealed a rarely discussed role — people who quietly organize lives, manage crises, and stabilize the emotional worlds of those at the highest levels of wealth.
The paradox they inhabit fascinated me: being incredibly close to power while never truly belonging to it. Rather than exposing individuals, I want to understand the human dynamics behind privilege and dependence.
The series adopts an intimate and observational approach to reveal a reality that often contrasts sharply with the lives of the billionaires they serve. Creating a safe and respectful environment is essential so that these stories can emerge with authenticity.
